Job Description
SUMMARY:
Provides end user computing (EUC) technical support for hardware, software, and web-based services. The primary role is to provide desktop support, break-fix, identity management, and fulfillment of technical services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following, but other duties may be assigned as company’s needs dictate.
• Configures and troubleshoots a range of hardware platforms (computers, printers, handheld devices, etc.).
• Supports end-users with various installed and web-based applications.
• Manages the EUC hardware lifecycle, from deployment through retirement.
• Follows company policies and protocols in the fulfillment of job assignments.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Must have a relevant technology certificate or degree; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Customer-focused with excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to read, write, and analyze various business/technical documents written in English. Must be able to present information and respond to questions in multicultural one-on-one and group settings.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Deep knowledge of Windows and Office. Experience troubleshooting networked systems. Powershell and Mac OS are a plus.
REASONING ABILITY: Exceptional attention to detail; strong organizational and administrative skills. Desire to accept challenges from unfamiliar technology and the ability to learn new systems, skills, processes. Excell at making the workload visible: ticket queues, documentation, etc. Approachable, ability to be a team player and to build relationships with all types of people. High degree of integrity; able to handle confidential information with absolute discretion. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must occasionally access network equipment at ceiling height. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: A technology certificate is a plus.
