Job Seekers
How fast can I start working?
We pre-screen every application within 24 business hours. When a job fits your skills, area and shift, onboarding usually takes 1–2 days.
How do I get hired on permanently?
On a temp-to-perm job, good work can lead to the client hiring you on as their own employee. Clients usually start thinking about a hire-on after about 520 hours on the job, roughly 13 weeks full-time. It isn't automatic. The decision is the client's, and it depends on your attendance, your work, and whether the job is a good fit for you too. If there have been attendance or work issues, a client may take more time before deciding. Show up, do good work, and talk to us if something isn't working.
Can I get work if I have a background?
Generally, yes. We review each situation on its own, so apply.
Do I need an appointment?
Interviews are by appointment. Walk-ins are welcome Tuesday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
How often do I get paid?
Weekly direct deposit, every Thursday morning. When a holiday falls on payday, we pay a day early, so you're never waiting on your money.
Can a temporary job become permanent?
Often, yes. Whether you're hired on depends on the company and your work.
Do I need experience?
Not always. Each job post says what's required.
Do you charge a fee?
No. Eclipse never charges job seekers a fee.
What do I need to bring?
To complete onboarding, federal law requires us to verify your identity and employment authorization (Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification). On your first day, please bring either one document from List A (for example, a U.S. passport) or one document from List B (for example, a driver's license) plus one from List C (for example, a Social Security card). You choose which acceptable documents to present. The full list is on the USCIS website.
Will I be drug tested?
Yes. Every job offer is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen. We use a 10-panel saliva test: a quick, non-invasive mouth swab done on-site in just a few minutes. Every associate is also verified through E-Verify, and some jobs require a background check. We'll tell you up front when one does.

We pre-screen every application within 24 business hours.
Will I know my pay before I start?
Yes. Your pay rate, start date, hours and start instructions are confirmed by phone and in writing before your first day.

In most cases, yes. Most of our jobs are not on a bus line.
What safety gear do I need?
Eclipse provides a safety vest and safety glasses where the job requires them. You bring the rest, such as work boots.
Do temps get benefits?
No. If a company hires you on permanently, you become their employee and their pay and benefits apply.
I'm running late or can't make it. Who do I call?
If you're going to be late or miss a shift, call Eclipse right away, and follow any reporting instructions the client gives you at onboarding.
Can I choose my shift?
You can turn down a job because of the shift. Once you start, changing shifts takes approval from Eclipse and the company.
What happens when my assignment ends?
If it ended because the job wasn't the right fit, we start looking for your next one right away. If it ended for attendance, we usually can't place you again for at least 3 months; a no call/no show means at least 6 months. Performance problems, like phone use on the floor, usually mean we can't place you again.
