This role is designed for people who thrive in digital environments—combining the hand-eye coordination, focus, and adaptability of experienced VR users with the precision and work ethic required for professional teleoperation. You will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency, safety, and quality of manufacturing operations through immersive remote control.
Key Responsibilities
● Operate industrial robots and machinery via VR headset, following established standard operating procedures and safety protocols
● Maintain situational awareness and focus throughout extended VR sessions
● Collect and interpret system feedback, respond to unexpected events, and troubleshoot basic operational issues
● Work collaboratively with team members and communicate robot/system issues accurately and efficiently
● Contribute feedback about the teleoperation experience to enhance process and system usability
● Ensure work quality meets manufacturing and safety standards
● Routinely monitor and adjust machine settings to optimize efficiency and performance
● Support the recording and annotation of operational data for process improvement
Qualifications
● Proven experience with VR headsets and interactive software (e.g., VR gaming, training platforms, simulation, or professional teleoperation)
● Ability to remain focused and alert over long, repetitive sessions
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
● Ability to follow directions precisely and communicate clearly
● Experience working in warehouse environments
● Prior experience with robotics, industrial machines, or quality control is a plus, but not required
● Comfortable working from an office environment with extended periods at VR workstations
