Maintenance Mechanic (Healthcare Industry Experience)

Responsibilities

• Comprehend functionality of all production equipment.
• Ability to disassemble equipment, evaluate parts condition, replace parts as necessary.
• Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
• Ability to perform basic electrical/electronic troubleshooting. Utilize a multimeter, amp meter as required.
• Perform scheduled or non-scheduled preventive maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, part adjustments/replacement, belt replacement, bearing replacement.
• Ensures all machinery is properly prepared and operational for scheduled production start-up.
• Collaborates with production line team members and reviews diagnostic data including test results and error messages to identify equipment malfunctions and ensure production meets quality standards.
• Record repairs and maintenance performed in proper equipment logs.
• Supports additional duties from management and various tasks and responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Skills and Qualifications

• MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING ON PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT.
• Nonwoven industry equipment experience a plus.
• Cross fold, Flatpack, Canister/Bottle Liquid filling, capping, labeling, ink jet coding, cartoner experience a plus.
• Ability to work together with team members while also being self-sufficient.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.

Required Education and Experience:

• 3 – 5 years of experience in fast-paced environment
• College/ Trade School graduate or equivalent.
