Special Prep

Responsibilities

• Operate and work safely around saw equipment.
• Measure materials accurately using a ruler; ruler test required.
• Assist with manufacturing special-order doors according to specifications.
• Learn to review blueprints and special-order documents to complete assignments.
• Measure materials accurately down to 1/64 of an inch.
• Perform heavy lifting and move materials weighing 50+ pounds as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines.
• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous saw, manufacturing, construction, or production experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a saw and taking precise measurements.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Ability to understand and follow measurements, blueprints, and written instructions.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds.
• Willingness to learn new processes and skills.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality are a MUST.
• Must be dependable and able to work well as part of a team.
