Maintenance Mechanic

Department: Maintenance

Shift: 1st

Description:

Troubleshoot and repair all equipment in the plant.

Train new team members to be able to complete the task.

Work with all departments and ensure that everything is always running.

Experience Required:

Must have experience in electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic and materialized equipment.

Prior maintenance knowledge.

Essential Job Functions:

Read Tape Measure

Use hand tools, welder and cutting torch

Maintain required production standards

Maintain a safe work environment

All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Skills Required:

Ability to detect malfunctions

Ability to work with others

Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Ability to follow written/verbal instructions

Ability to read / write English

Ability to do simple math.

Knowledge of machine operations

Ability to drive a forklift

Ability to read blueprints

Ability to use variety of machines, tools and equipment

Ability to read instruments

Manual dexterity

Physical Activities:

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, kneel, drive, climb, reach above shoulders for various amounts of time.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
