Job Description

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 Interface with all Departments

 Support Hour by Hour Procedure to identify priorities and execute to meet weekly deadlines

 Works with Customer Service on customer expedites/rush requests.

 Reviews the daily/weekly capacity plan with Team to ensure daily production schedules maximize profitability and meet customer needs as first priority.

 Analyzes production and processes data as needed to track improvement progress.

 Promotes teamwork throughout the plant and addresses issues that impact teamwork between shift/Departments in the plant.

 Develop schedule for plant. Investigates and analyzes production problems and bottlenecks concerning throughput and quality.

 Keeper of all department’s backlogs. In conjunction with die shop and engineering, determines what notifications are changed to work orders.

 Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to

meet daily production objectives.

 Reconcile weekly. This will consist of (what needs to be converted to work orders), and review the backlog

of the work orders to see what should be planned next and what work orders are already planned for scheduling.

 Participates in and completes company-required training programs.

 Attend monthly safety meetings.

 Other duties as assigned or needed.

Overall Plant Process Flow: Tie the planning and scheduling to the plant floor.

 Reconciling daily for Uncompleted Work Orders for Each Department. Reschedule based on new changing Priorities. and be very well prepared to (lead the daily production meeting)

 Monitor production schedule to insure we are with scheduled work orders for the plant.

 Prepares and distributes the department schedules accurately and timely.

 Closes the loop of communication by preparing daily shift performance reports for each Department.

Relays all necessary information: Scrap, Incomplete orders etc.

 As a plant planner scheduler this would allow CSR to have one point of contact for any department.

 All expedites should updated and communicated daily.

 Track Late Order for Each Department.

 Track Overages Daily Find a solution to ship.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range $16 - $16 / hr
