Wax Department -2nd Shift

**All candidates must be flexible to train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for fastening pattern by gate of one or more runners (UBARS)
2. And the Ubars are attached to a pouring cup. Patterns, ubars and pouring cup comprise the cluster or “TREE”
3. Check traveler and tool for proper setup
4. Check for Heat Code, Part No., Ceramic Cores, Soluble Cores, and other instruction prior to running patterns.
5. Inspect parts for Sink, Cracks, Flash, Flowlines, Chipped, and Broken
6. Minor repair of wax patterns
7. Determine inject time, pressure setting, and accurate count.
8. Proper care of tooling
9. Proper care of wax patterns
10. Know job safety rules & procedures, Quality Policy, and good housekeeping

Physical Requirements:

• Requires fine motor skills for handling small parts
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Safety glasses and steel toed shoes required
