Finishing Department -2nd Shift

**All candidates must be flexible to train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Remove excess metal from castings. Sort for weld repair scrap, and prepare for outside processing, drill or press castings as needed.
2. Responsible for removing any remaining protrusions left by gates or runners by belt grinding.
3. Grind, sand, or polish, using handheld tools, a variety of metal. Wood, stone, clay, plastic, or glass objects. Include chippers, buffers, and finishers
4. Training, safety, and good housekeeping.
5. Assists in other departmental duties as required by supervision 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Safety glasses, steel toed shoes required, ear protection
• lift greater than 25 lbs
