What is light industrial staffing?

Light industrial staffing connects employers with qualified workers for warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, and transportation roles. Eclipse Light Industrial Staffing provides Flexible - Seasonal, Temp To Perm, Direct Hire, Payroll, and Employer of Record services for Dallas-Fort Worth employers.

What is temp-to-perm staffing?

Temp-to-perm staffing lets employers assess a worker's skills, performance, and fit on the job before making a permanent hiring decision. It gives employers workforce flexibility while giving qualified candidates an opportunity to demonstrate their value.

What areas does Eclipse serve?

Eclipse Light Industrial Staffing serves employers and job seekers across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with a focus on South Dallas and Northern Ellis County, including Lancaster, DeSoto, Duncanville, Waxahachie, Ennis, Cedar Hill, Midlothian, Ferris, Hutchins, Wilmer, and Oak Cliff.

What is WBE certification?

WBE certification identifies a business as woman-owned, managed, and controlled. Eclipse Light Industrial Staffing is a WBE-certified staffing partner, providing employers a qualified supplier option for light industrial workforce needs.

How does Eclipse's screening process work?

Eclipse uses a four-step recruitment, interview, testing, and selection process. Candidates complete phone, task-oriented, and behavioral evaluations, with skills assessment through Skill Check by Symphony Talent. Eclipse also supports background checks and strict E-Verify compliance.

How long is the temp-to-perm evaluation period?

Eclipse's standard temp-to-perm evaluation period is 520 hours (13 weeks at 40 hours/week). This gives employers ample time to assess skills, work ethic, attendance, and cultural fit before making a permanent commitment.

What is the Skill Check by Symphony Talent assessment?

Eclipse uses Skill Check by Symphony Talent — a platform providing 500+ job-specific, cognitive, and behavioral assessments. These 1.5-hour evaluations predict on-the-job success for warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, and transportation roles, ensuring every temp-to-perm candidate is skills-verified before their first day.

What is Eclipse's candidate screening process?

Eclipse uses a 4-step screening process: (1) proactive recruitment from pre-vetted talent pools, (2) 1.5-hour Skill Check by Symphony Talent assessment, (3) thorough background checks and strict E-Verify compliance, and (4) a structured 520-hour evaluation period on the job. This ensures employers receive reliable, qualified candidates.

Does Eclipse offer second-chance hiring?

Yes. Eclipse evaluates candidates with criminal backgrounds or past issues on a case-by-case basis. This second-chance approach expands the talent pool while maintaining safety and reliability for employers.

What types of roles are best suited for temp-to-perm staffing?

Temp-to-perm staffing works best for warehouse associates, material handlers, forklift operators, production workers, machine operators, assembly line staff, shipping/receiving personnel, and transportation roles. Eclipse specializes exclusively in light industrial staffing across Dallas-Fort Worth.
